Statement released by Islamic Culture and Relations Organization on the occasion of "World Quds Day"

According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the statement released by the organization while glorifying the liberation movement of the Palestinian nation, has invited all Iranians from all walks of life and freedom loving people of the world to commemorate the annual World Quds Day in special manner because of the spread of Coronavirus.

The statement by the ICRO reads as follows:

In the Name of God,

The World Quds Day is a legacy left behind by the late Imam Khomeini which shows his wisdom in recognizing the real enemy of Islamic World. The plots and seditions we are witness todays, created on the path of liberating the Holy Quds within the member countries of Resistance Movement, rightly indicate the sound decision made by the Great Leader of the Islamic Revolution in targeting the main enemy of the Islamic World and the region namely the Zionist regime.

The honorable Iranian nation during the past 40 years had demonstrated their commitment to the legacy of their late Imam by taking part at the demonstrations held each year on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan commemorating the World Quds Day and this year will also do the same.

Last year we were witness to marches held across the world on the World Quds Day and such campaign has borne fruit in condemning the Usurper regime of Israel and this year by the time of Coronavirus Pandemic, the World Quds Day will be commemorated in a clear and prominent manner but different way and let the world to hear their outcry against this Zionist regime.

Glorifying the Quds Day has had positive impact on the Islamic World, regional countries and the oppressed people of the world, most important among them, increased solidarity and cohesion among Islamic countries.

All the development and events in the region emphasize that Palestine is still the main issue in the Islamic world, and it is based on this fact that the prudent leader of the Iranian Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, continues to see the Zionist regime as the main problem and urges Muslims not to divert their attention from their main enemy and turn against each other.

If today the main discourse of the world about health is aimed at corona as the main threat, the spiritual concern of the world must be the Palestinian cause. The Islamic Culture and Relation Organization, while paying homage to the sole of the great founder of the Islamic Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini (RH) and the martyrs of the Resistance Front and especially the Major General Martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani, once again along with our wise leader Ayatollah Khamenei reiterate that the straggle against the usurper regime of Israel till liberation of the Holy Quds, is the cause and aspiration of the Islamic Revolution of the Iranian people.
