The Ch’ing Period (1054 – 1277 AH)
During the Ch’ing period, Islam continued its expansion into the interior regions of China, such as Hunan province, west of Chiangtze, Szechwan, east of Tibet (Ping, pp. 73, 82), as well as into the northeastern part of the country, in the province of Lianing (Ping, p. 155).
