Cultural Center Islamic Republic of Iran-Rawalpindi
During 1960 (1339, Shamsi), When capital of Pakistan was transferred fromKarachi to the Islamabad, Cultural Center of Irans embassy also had been transferred to the Rawalpindi.Since then, the activities of the Cultural Center of Islamic Republic of Iran - Rawalpindi are continue.The building of this Culture House of the Islamic Republic of Iran is located in 46-A, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi. This Iranian Culture Centre is as a Cultural Organization affiliated with Cultural and Relations organization, Islamic Republic of Iran.
Objectives:
1: Cultural, scientific, educational, religious and artistic development and relationship between the two countries.
2: Introduction of Iranian - Islamic culture to the people of Pakistan.
3: Strengthen the ties of unity and Islamic brotherhood and friendship between the two peoples.
4: Strengthen and expand academic and cultural institutions of the two countries.
5: Promotion of Persian Language and Literature in order to preserve and promote cultural heritage.
6: Introduction of scientific and cultural figures of the two countries such as poets and adba.
7: Exchanges of the professors and students in various academic fields.
8: Scientific, educational, literary magazine and book publishing.
9: Introduction of the two holy places and tourist attractions to attract tourists.
10: Holding of the Scientific, cultural and educational conferences and seminars.
